Upneeq
Upneeq (oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) is an FDA-approved specialty eye drop designed to treat acquired blepharoptosis in adults. The drop works by lifting the eyelids to make the eyes appear more open.
Am I A Candidate for Upneeq?
We recommend coming in for an evaluation by one of our physicians to see if Upneeq is right for you. Our doctors will evaluate your eyelids and if you are a good candidate, we will give you instructions to order from Upneeq’s specialty pharmacy. If you are not a candidate for the drop, we will discuss other options that may be more suited to your specific condition.
Post-treatment, you may have some slight redness to the face, but this will quickly reside. We discourage prolonged sun exposure for the following week. We recommend using an SPF30 or SPF50 sunscreen for the face for the week following the treatment.
